THERE’S A STURDY SOUL INSIDE YOU. TOGETHER, WE’LL HELP IT FEEL STEADY AGAIN.

In-person and online therapy for couples, individuals, entertainment professionals, and more in Pasadena, California.

This isn’t how life was supposed to pan out.

Your credentials, your experiences, your success—who you are on paper might “sound” amazing, but the you in real life is overwhelmed. Unsettled. You’re hounded by endless “shoulds” and “shouldn'ts”: I shouldn’t feel this way. I should be able to handle this. I should leave. I should stay. I should just write. Meanwhile, relationships, career—maybe even your own sense of stability—feel fragile, like they could crack at any moment.

Maybe there's a part of you grieving a path not taken or the kind of love and attention you needed but didn't receive. With so many different influences that led you to where you are, now you find yourself at a crossroads with no idea what’s next.

You’re here because this is an unfamiliar shift—an unraveling that you can’t keep pretending isn’t there.

Many people come to me when they’re facing the unknown.

A lifestyle shift or career burnout.
An intentional decision.
A relationship that feels disconnected or misaligned.
An uninvited change or debilitating loss.
A creative block or barrier to self-expression.
A level of stress and overwhelm that has become unmanageable.

You've been living in an accumulated self…

But now it’s uncomfortable,
not right,
not you.
But you keep trying it on anyway, because for a long time… it worked.

Until now.

Hi, I’m John.

I’m here to help you face this uncertainty with deep human connection.

It's hard right now. I know. Something isn’t working—your relationship is strained, your creative spark is gone, the chaos of the world is getting to you, or you’re just not sure who you are anymore. You’ve been holding it together silently, maybe even resentfully, for everyone else, but inside it’s loud: the self-doubt, the anxiety, the questions of “what now?”

Some part of you is ready for change. We start there.

I’m not rigidly tied to a specific approach. I’m genuinely curious—about you, your patterns, your pain, and the things you’ve been carrying for way too long. Together we’ll slow down and tune in to the messages your mind and body are sending you. This isn’t to diagnose or “fix” you, but to understand how you got here and how you might begin to move differently. That might mean living with more clarity, more compassion, more resilience, or just way less bullshit from that inner critic of yours.

Ultimately, I want to help you become a better friend to yourself. That’s the work. Not perfection, not some idealized version of you—just something real, solid, and lasting. I believe we all have a sturdy soul. You may not feel it now, but it’s in there. Let’s find it.

Let’s Get Started

01

Reach out.

Schedule a consultation to see if we’re a good fit. This is an opportunity for us to get a better sense of each other as we discuss what you’re looking for and what brings you here.

02

Start therapy.

With an experience that is uniquely yours, we’ll step into greater clarity, compassion, and a stronger sense of direction. You can begin to feel more confident in how you relate—to yourself, and to the people who matter most.

03

Embrace self-compassion & connection.

You’re not a problem to be fixed—you’re a person worthy of love and understanding. Therapy helps you see that truth. From here, you can shift from self-criticism and “stuckness” to emotional relief and clear direction.

Being a sturdy soul means knowing how to come back when you fall apart.
